Questionable Toyota GR GT details emerge

  • New details with varying degreed of validity have been floating around the rumor mill regarding the Toyota / Lexus GR GT3

  • Sources are saying the GR GT3 is likely to start upwards of $225,000. This seems unlikely, we still expect something in the $140-$180,000 range to compete with mid-range Porsche 911s

  • Rumors also indicate the GR GT will be sold as a Toyota through Lexus dealerships in the United States; this may be true but if so the car will be branded as a Lexus or as a pure GR product as we expect it will be

  • Additionally, sites are posting that the GR GT will only be sold through Toyota’s “GR Garage dealerships in Japan; this is almost certainly true
