Honda Prelude receives the Mugen treatment

  • Mugen has released a spec.III concept based on the previously announced HRC edition of the Honda Prelude which premiered at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon

  • The last Prelude package released by Mugen was the Spec.II in 1987

  • The package stops shorts of power improvements but includes a full body kit treatment, sport exhaust, and lighter weight wheels

  • The amount of development on the prelude platform from both HRC and Mugen makes it likely we’ll see higher performance variants in the future
