BMW M2 receives all-wheel drive

  • For the first time since it’s initial release, the BMW M2 will add an all-wheel drive (AWD) for 2027

  • Featuring BMW’s xDrive technology, the AWD option will bring the coupe’s 0-60 time down from 3.9 to 3.6 seconds

  • System adds 121 pounds of weight bringing total weight to 3,988

  • Unfortunately, the xDrive option remains automatic only and is paired with BMW’s well-tuned 8-speed transmission
