Audi presents GT50 RS3-based coupe concept

  • Audi apprentices have created an RS3-based coupe concept which resembles the 90 Quattro IMSA GTO

  • The concept is drivable and utilizes the RS3’s 2.5 liter TFSI five-cylinder engine

  • While not an official concept, previous rumors indicate Audi may develop an RS3-based coupe now that the S/RS5 has been discontinued

  • The car was revealed at a company meeting in Neckarsulm, in front of nearly 3,200 employees giving enthusiasts hope Audi won’t entirely abandon the GT category
