Honda isn’t finished with the Prelude platform

  • Enthusiasts have been disappointed in the recent Prelude release which only features one hybridized powertrain

  • Sources indicate that the platform released as the Prelude will ultimately be offered with a Civic Type R / Acura Integra powertrain

  • If so, expect a 2.0 liter, 300+ horsepower, turbocharged, four-cylinder, driving the front wheels (all-wheel drive not expected) through a manual transmission

  • Potential utilization of this drivetrain could come in the form of an Acura, reviving the RSX badge
